Improved visit report photos

If you prefer to view photos in the visit report PDF (rather than browse the gallery on The Hub), there are two options: view as thumbnails or as photos. We have improved the latter option so that the images are larger and have treble the resolution. We also fixed a bug where they would sometimes overlap.

More heat map improvements

The heat maps for reviews, survey scores and audit scores have all been updated. Tabs showing 'By Period' and 'By location' allow you to to switch between months, weeks, quarters, day of week and no grouping for the selected date range. In addition, the 'By Location' tab makes it easy to drill up to areas, regions and brands. For audit scores and survey scores, there's also a 'Day Part' option which shows the hours for each day part (example shown below). The content has also been tidied up, so it should be easier for you to quickly navigate to the statistics that you're interested in (and export if you like).

Improvements to dish heat maps

We've made some extensive updates to the dish heat maps report to make it easier to navigate. Three tabs give you the option of seeing measures by dish, measures by location, and dishes by period. You can now see all dish KPIs for any selected date range. There are new interactions to enable you to easily choose whether to group results by location, area, week, month and quarter (see image below). You can filter by dish and dish type and, of course, you can export all the data. Tasty!

Updated Review Ratings page

The Review Ratings page has had a makeover. You can choose whether to view the rating and response charts by quarters, months, weeks or days for any date range in the last 2 years. These trend charts now have the full width of the page. The leaderboard can be ascending or descending. A visit source filter has been added to all pages and various styling improvements have been added.

Introducing Opinion Mining

We are excited to announce the introduction of Opinion Mining. This is a text analysis technique that uses natural language processing to find out what subjects guests are talking about and how they are describing those subjects (i.e. their opinions). In addition, you can track the positive and negative sentiment for each subject and see how that changes over time. Best of all, there's no extra charge! It's currently available for clients with Feedback Sites and Review Management. Find the interactive report in the Text Analytics section in The Hub, and reach out to your Client Success Manager if you would like further guidance.

Barometer and dials added to dashboard

In our recent update to the dashboard, some of you missed the barometer. So we've added a trend line for this, as well as 5 dials at the top that illustrate performance against the brand average for barometer, NPS, feedback, reviews and audits. These also change colour depending on how good/bad the score is. Watch this space for more interactive dashboard features to follow.

Tab- and visit-specific navigation in the inbox

Tabs in the Hub's inbox now have their own URL. So, for example, if you want to direct someone directly to photos in the media tab, just go to https://hub.hgem.com/inbox/media

Also, TOP TIP: if you want to create a link for any specific visit, just add a query string with the visit ID. For example, https://hub.hgem.com/inbox/media?visitid=6232453 will take you to the media tab for visit #6232453

New Hub dashboard

The Hub dashboard is now only available for users with data from feedback surveys, as the suite of Overview Charts covers most other needs. The content has been updated too - so you now have trend lines for several KPIs from different visit types, a toggle between months and weeks, a comparison with other locations and with the previous period, and further stats when you hover over a data point.

Improved NPS Alignment report

We've made several improvements to the NPS Alignment heat map. This report shows which questions, answers, categories and dishes are having the biggest influence on likelihood to recommend (and hence NPS). It is now easier to see the difference between what promoters and detractors think, and you can drill down into the NPS classification itself.

Review responses in heat map

We've made it easier to view your review response statistics (response rate and days to respond). These are now shown in the reviews heat map, alongside the review scores themselves. So you can easily see how each location is performing.
